Source: Tommy Dickson/INPHOA MUNSTER SCHOOLS Junior rugby cup tie was abandoned yesterday at Musgrave Park in Cork after just nine minutes when three players from Limerick school St Munchin’s were seriously injured.The Irish Examiner reported that Munchin’s players Dylan Higgins and Craig Carew were removed by ambulance to Cork University Hospital while another player Dean Callinan had to leave the field with a head injury.But the Limerick school last night revealed in a statement on the school’s Facebook page, that players had been released from hospital and all three were recovering at home last night.St Munchin’s also praised opponents Presentation Brothers College Cork for their support and their captain for visiting the injured players in hospital.
