MORE THAN 1,600 ALREADY SIGNED UP FOR NORTH-WEST 10K

first_imgMore than 1,600 people have already registered for the North-West 10K as of last night.Registration for the Letterkenny event will again open between 10am and 1pm today with a last minute rush expected.Up to 3,000 runners and walkers are expected to take part in the race which starts at 2pm. The man to shoot the starting gun will be well-known committee member Charlie Kelly.The charities to benefit form the race include the Friends of Letterkenny General Hospital, SNAP (Special Needs Accessible Park) and the Donegal Mountain Rescue Team.Organisers are asking runners and walkers to put their numbers on the front of their t-shirts.Runners are asked to make sure to put their timing chips on their runners.
