The conference is designed to help UK fundraisers access the £120 billion given by US donors each year to charitable causes. Dr Anne Petersen, Senior Vice President of the W K Kellogg Foundation, will deliver the keynote address on how to secure funding from US Foundations. Her trust funds projects in health, education, agriculture, leadership and youth worldwide. Advertisement The Kresge Foundation, which is looking for more capital appeals to support in the UK, will run a workshop on how to secure matched funding. Damaris Horan will explain how, as Director of the most successful USA ‘Friends Group’, Royal Oak, she raised $12 million for the National Trust from 44,000 individual donors. Other case studies will be presented by the Royal Shakespeare Company, Manchester University and Bryanston School and detailed ./guidance will be provided by US-based fundraising specialists Ken Hoffman, Johanna Gurland and Helen Brown. There will be a particular emphasis on how to target wealthy individuals. The fee for the conference is £125 which includes VAT and lunch.
