Photo Credit: Lantern File PhotoOhio State redshirt sophomore quarterback Stephen Collier announced his retirement from football on Tuesday, leaving the Buckeyes with four scholarship quarterbacks on its roster.He missed the entire 2016 season with a torn ACL injury during spring practice.Collier enrolled at OSU in the spring of 2014 after graduating early from Lee County High School in Leesburg, Georgia. He has been on scholarship for three seasons and graduated from OSU in just over three years with a degree in strategic communications.In an exclusive with Land of 10, Collier, a former 3-star recruit, said that he is pursuing a master’s degree and will be contributing to the program in a behind-the-scenes role.Collier’s retirement moves OSU closer to the 85 scholarship limit in 2017.Here is Collier’s written letter. read more
